Species Quotations
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change. Charles Darwin An unjust law is itself a species of violence. Arrest for its breach is more so. Mohandas Gandhi Let us beware of saying that death is the opposite of life. The living being is only a species of the dead, and a very rare species. Friedrich Nietzsche Love is only a dirty trick played on us to achieve continuation of the species. W. Somerset Maugham There are minds so impatient of inferiority that their gratitude is a species of revenge, and they return benefits, not because recompense is a pleasure, but because obligation is a pain.
