Shot Quotations
Some people regard private enterprise as a predatory tiger to be shot. Others look on it as a cow they can milk. Not enough people see it as a healthy horse, pulling a sturdy wagon. Winston Churchill Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result. Winston Churchill There is nothing more exhilarating than to be shot at without result. Winston Churchill One of the greatest casualties of the war in Vietnam is the Great Society... shot down on the battlefield of Vietnam. Martin Luther King, Jr. I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. Michael Jordan I never looked at the consequences of missing a big shot... when you think about the consequences you always think of a negative result. Michael Jordan Immortality is a long shot, I admit. But somebody has to be first. Bill Cosby Guilt for being rich, and guilt thinking that perhaps love and peace isn't enough and you have to go and get shot or something. John Lennon One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know. Groucho Marx Before I was shot, I always thought that I was more half-there than all-there - I always suspected that I was watching TV instead of living life. Right when I was being shot and ever since, I knew that I was watching television. Andy Warhol |
