It says, I'm home now. But leave a message and I'll call when I'm out. Steven Wright I want to get a vending machine, with fun sized candy bars, and the glass in front is a magnifying glass. You'll be mad, but it will be too late. Mitch Hedberg If the machine of government is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law. Henry David Thoreau The typewriting machine, when played with expression, is no more annoying than the piano when played by a sister or near relation. Oscar Wilde Every few seconds it changes - up an eighth, down an eighth -it's like playing a slot machine. I lose $20 million, I gain $20 million. Ted Turner Our body is a machine for living. It is organized for that, it is its nature. Let life go on in it unhindered and let it defend itself. Leo Tolstoy There will one day spring from the brain of science a machine or force so fearful in its potentialities, so absolutely terrifying, that even man, the fighter, who will dare torture and death in order to inflict torture and death, will be appalled, and so abandon war forever. Thomas A. Edison A free America... means just this: individual freedom for all, rich or poor, or else this system of government we call democracy is only an expedient to enslave man to the machine and make him like it.
