Account Quotations
A religion that takes no account of practical affairs and does not help to solve them is no religion. Mohandas Gandhi As we must account for every idle word, so must we account for every idle silence. Benjamin Franklin One who is injured ought not to return the injury, for on no account can it be right to do an injustice; and it is not right to return an injury, or to do evil to any man, however much we have suffered from him. Socrates I hope that no American will waste his franchise and throw away his vote by voting either for me or against me solely on account of my religious affiliation. It is not relevant. John F. Kennedy No one has been barred on account of his race from fighting or dying for America, there are no white or colored signs on the foxholes or graveyards of battle. John F. Kennedy On account of being a democracy and run by the people, we are the only nation in the world that has to keep a government four years, no matter what it does. Will Rogers No agency is better than its account executives. Samuel Goldwyn All that seems indispensible in stating the account between the dead and the living, is to see that the debts against the latter do not exceed the advances made by the former. James Madison Ability is of little account without opportunity. Lucille Ball There's so little money in my bank account, my scenic checks show a ghetto. Phyllis Diller |
