Loosed from, or unconnected by, dependence on any other being; self-existent; self-sufficing. Capable of being thought or conceived by itself alone; unconditioned; non-relative. Positive; clear; certain; not doubtful. Authoritative; peremptory. Pure; unmixed; as, absolute alcohol.
