I have had the auditioning process go on for two weeks or three weeks. I am always incredibly anxious. The audition and the wait is definitely the hardest part for me.

Joe Lando Japan is quite weird because they wait for you to say something before they respond. You can literally hear a pin drop, they don't make a sound until you say something to the crowd. Kelly Jones The records fell easily at first. Dozens of seconds peeled away with every running of a course, and I could hardly wait for the next chance to improve. Joe Henderson We have had a long wait for democracy. Chen Shui-bian Most of us... are simply just trying to get through the day. And wait for those times in their life that are markers, that put things into relief. That's why we like movies and books so much. Campbell Scott One reason I don't suffer Writer's Block is that I don't wait on the muse, I summon it at need. Piers Anthony I don't want to do anything like Can't Hardly Wait, I don't want to do anything like Scream. I saw all those movies, and they were good, but they're just not what I want to do. Laura Prepon I can't wait to work for Rick Kaplan. He's a great producer. I would host an infomercial if he would produce it. Tucker Carlson No one I know of has ever had this experience-where you had to sit and wait and wait for a DNA test to come back just so you can write the last page of the book. Joseph Wambaugh By the time I was four, I would walk around the corner and wait at a local streetcar stop, get on the streetcar with somebody who looked like they could be my mother and go to the end of the line. Maureen Forrester Missionary zeal does not grow out of intellectual beliefs, nor out of theological arguments, but out of love. If I do not love a person I am not moved to help him by proofs that he is in need; if I do love him, I wait for no proof of a special need to urge me to help him. Roland Allen You have to wait six months to purchase a fuel efficient automobile made from overseas. Ed Markey I think that most writers who wait until they're inspired to write are just waiting for the fear to subside. Barry Mann I love TV. I know all the theme songs from the shows I watch. I'm not one of those who'd rather be a movie star. I prefer TV because of the rushed way of working-on a movie set, you sit around and wait and wait to do a scene because they're adjusting the lights. Dana Hill Maybe... there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for unlawfully detaining 120 people. Maybe they just got carried away with last year's idea of pre-emptive strikes and thought, 'Let's not wait for an actual crime to occur. Let's get the innocent. Mark Thomas So what we have is a president that has brought this issue before the American people. We now understand that we can't wait. We understand every year we wait it gets $600 billion worse. Ken Mehlman We wanted to do a sequel with Jim and Jeff. They said that the word was that Jim didn't want to do any sequels. We approached him and he said he would do it, but not until next year. New Line said it was too long to wait. Bobby Farrelly You think you know her. Just wait and see the change. I'll have her trained in no time. David O. Selznick We are going to put out a boxed set thing, but I don't want to do it yet. I want to wait until we're 45 and we're bitter and broke. Then, we'll put out the comprehensive Ween boxed set. Gene Ween I write a book over a period of months or years, and when I'm done with it, usually another year goes by before I see it in print. It's hard to be patient and wait. Margaret Haddix |
