I don't think Amber taped Scott or testified for money, but the opportunity certainly presented itself. It makes me a bit uncomfortable, but at least she never sold the story before trial to the tabloids.

Catherine Crier I don't want to be Kato, the trial guy. It's like everything I do is under a microscope. Kato Kaelin I expected to die. At no time before the trial did I expect to escape with my life. Yet being executed in the gas chamber did not necessarily mean defeat. It could be one more step to bring the community to a higher level of consciousness. Huey Newton I got the chance to argue my first case in Supreme Court, a criminal case arising in Alabama that involved the right of a defendant to counsel at a critical stage in a capital case before a trial. Constance Baker Motley I had no money nor friends to prepare for the trial till last night. William Kidd I have a friend that has five kids and she went through a trial separation with her husband, and she didn't have time to be upset. Every now and then, she'd call me on the cell phone and just cry. Faith Ford I have contact with no one involved in the trial. Kato Kaelin I have proved by actual trial that a letter, that takes an hour to write, takes only about 3 minutes to read! Lewis Carroll I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country. Thomas Jefferson I pray God I may never be brought to the melancholy trial; but, if ever I should, it will then be known how far I can reduce to practice principles which I know to be founded in truth. James Otis I seriously doubt I would ever have written the first story had I not been a lawyer. I never dreamed of being a writer. I wrote only after witnessing a trial. John Grisham I should have known. The first tip I got was when she rarely showed up in court for the second trial. Dennis Kozlowski I should not regret a fair and full trial of the entire abolition of capital punishment. James Madison I suppose that one of the reasons I wrote "In Contempt" was because of the money. After the trial I came to realize that there were things that I needed to do if I was to protect myself and my family, so there were some selfish reasons for it. Christopher Darden I therefore believe that our system does not have a word for failed trial, and that is where the American public does not realize that our criminal justice system sometimes makes mistakes. Sam Sheppard I view myself primarily as a trial lawyer who happens to be writing, as opposed to a writer who happens to be a trial lawyer, so the audience is like a jury to me. Vincent Bugliosi I was a trial lawyer when I was elected to Congress. Geraldine Ferraro I was at an acting academy for seven years prior to the trial. Kato Kaelin I was never given a trial. I never went before any magistrate, nor did my parents. To this day, I do not know what the charges that were lodged against me or my deceased parents at this time. Robert Matsui I watched the entire O.J. Simpson trial, and he was guilty. Connie Willis |
