Really, if I'm gonna eat a meat, I'd rather eat venison than anything and I do like it a little on the rare side. That's probably my favorite meat and I've had some awfully good venison in some of the great restaurants.

Mike Ditka I have spent many years of my life in opposition, and I rather like the role. Eleanor Roosevelt When will our consciences grow so tender that we will act to prevent human misery rather than avenge it? Eleanor Roosevelt I need sex for a clear complexion, but I'd rather do it for love. Joan Crawford The curse of me and my nation is that we always think things can be bettered by immediate action of some sort, any sort rather than no sort. Plato Knowledge without justice ought to be called cunning rather than wisdom. Plato You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. Brian Tracy When I'm ready to make a photograph, I think I quite obviously see in my minds eye something that is not literally there in the true meaning of the word. I'm interested in something which is built up from within, rather than just extracted from without. Ansel Adams I am interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos-especially activity that seems to have no meaning. It seems to me to be the road toward freedom... Rather than starting inside, I start outside and reach the mental through the physical. Jim Morrison Vanity is a mark of humility rather than of pride. Jonathan Swift To say that any people are not fit for freedom, is to make poverty their choice, and to say they had rather be loaded with taxes than not. Thomas Paine If I read a book that impresses me, I have to take myself firmly by the hand, before I mix with other people; otherwise they would think my mind rather queer. Anne Frank We should not say that one man's hour is worth another man's hour, but rather that one man during an hour is worth just as much as another man during an hour. Time is everything, man is nothing: he is at the most time's carcass. Karl Marx It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. George S. Patton It's a rather rude gesture, but at least it's clear what you mean. Katharine Hepburn Judge a man by his questions rather than his answers. Voltaire I had rather excel others in the knowledge of what is excellent, than in the extent of my power and dominion. Alexander the Great I would rather excel others in the knowledge of what is excellent than in the extent of my powers and dominion. Alexander the Great The Black skin is not a badge of shame, but rather a glorious symbol of national greatness. Marcus Garvey I would rather try to persuade a man to go along, because once I have persuaded him, he will stick. If I scare him, he will stay just as long as he is scared, and then he is gone.
