Europe is scooters. Europe is five young people on one bench sharing a chocolate bar. Their idea of entertainment and fun is so much different than ours, which is exactly why a movie about them would be funny.

Mike Myers So they ended up turning this little twenty eight page book into the movie. And it's all about this stinky, smelly ogre who doesn't care what anybody thinks of him. Mike Myers The message of the movie is to accept who you are and not to succumb to the pressure of what the media tells you is beautiful and what you should be looking like. Mike Myers Verne's all about what you can do versus what you can't do. He just kept saying yes and his part kept growing. I would love to work with him in every movie. Mike Myers I think when I have kids and grandchildren I will be very proud to have them watch this movie. Mike Myers Very difficult to understand American audience, what they like, what they don't like. Some movie I like very much, it doesn't work. Some movie I don't like, it gets big box office. Very difficult. Jackie Chan Sometimes I'd like to play the bad guy and sometimes I'd like to die in a movie. Jackie Chan After all those years in Asia, I don't have to do promotion anymore. We just release a Jackie Chan movie and - Boom! - people go. Jackie Chan When people protest and are upset with a movie, it becomes a big hit. They hated Passion of The Christ, it worked out pretty well for the box office. So let's get that going. Denzel Washington I think that sometimes when they see me in a movie they expect me to be something nasty. I mean, I play a lot of villains and you show up and they think maybe... That's why it's good to defy expectations sometimes. Christopher Walken An actor really is a kind of intermediary between an audience and the piece, whether it's a play or movie. Christopher Walken Your mind always does worse things than people can show in a movie. Dean Koontz Because people see violence on the movie screen, they're not going to go out and hold up a liquor store and kill somebody. It really doesn't correlate. Dean Koontz I have to admit that when I watch a movie in which there is no moral context for the violence - I find that offensive. I think that's potentially damaging to society. Dean Koontz I ain't no movie star, man. I'm a booty star. Richard Pryor And if you're a golfer and you watch a golf film and Matt Damon swing, and it's not great, then you're not going to believe in the golf story, you're not going to believe in the rest of the film. That's the whole movie, so if that swing looks like crap, the movie's crap. Shia LaBeouf We did this two-week boot camp before we filmed the movie. I got to know everybody in the group and we became friends. We got really tight throughout those two weeks. Shia LaBeouf It was the most fun I've ever had on a movie. It was one of the happiest times in my life. I was living in New York, and I really enjoyed acting at the time. Also, it's funny because that was also the time when I went downhill. Mickey Rourke It's the formulaic studio movies the make money, and when they do, the actors in them are automatically movie stars. Mickey Rourke You know, making a movie is a collaborative effort and sometimes all the ingredients don't work out. I know that every now and again I am going to make a movie that won't work.
