I don't like the negative of reality tv - the 'you're no good, so you have to leave, I choose you, but I thought you really loved me.' It's all about how bad people are and I just hate that. I like Pimp my Ride where someone is helping somebody.

Bob Saget I loved playing the part of the feisty Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker. Mercedes McCambridge I loved the last album, and it was one hundred percent me. But this is like me two years later, who understands a little bit more about music and understands a little bit more about making an album. I wrote a lot more. Jennifer Lopez I loved the late Gilda Radner. I love Carol Burnett and Lily Tomlin. Tracey Ullman I wasn't driven. I just really loved what I did. Jo Stafford What I loved about playing the corpse is that obviously somebody else got to do the physical part. It appeals to the part of me that likes playing character parts and getting the chance to get away from my own physicality. Helena Bonham Carter I loved words. I love to sing them and speak them and even now, I must admit, I have fallen into the joy of writing them. Anne Rice And I really do believe that the most important thing is the way you live your life on earth. But I think it's enormously comforting to believe that you're going to see your loved ones. Barbara Walters I loved fairy tales when I was a kid. Grimm. The grimmer the better. I loved gruesome gothic tales and, in that respect, I liked Bible stories, because to me they were very gothic. Amy Tan That was a wonderful period in my life. I mean, I didn't become an artist, but somebody let me do something I loved. What a luxury, to do something you love to do. Amy Tan All love is original, no matter how many other people have loved before. George Weinberg I loved to fall down. Dick Van Dyke I am not ashamed to say that no man I ever met was my father's equal, and I never loved any other man as much. Hedy Lamarr I loved being outside. We'd hold lightning bugs in our fingers and pretend they were diamond rings. Loretta Lynn Until 1914 I loved to travel; I often went to Italy and once spent a few months in India. Since then I have almost entirely abandoned travelling, and I have not been outside of Switzerland for over ten years. Herman Hesse All I wanted was just what everybody else wants, you know, to be loved. Rita Hayworth I loved Old School. I thought Old School was very different than a lot of the comedies that had come out. And that character I liked. I tried to ground him very much in reality and play him very much finding things important to him that are somewhat ridiculous. Vince Vaughn My parents couldn't handle my energy so they enrolled me in every sport the school was offering. I didn't resent it because I loved sports and picked them up easily. Channing Tatum The studio thought I was crazy to perform all of my own fencing stunts, but I loved it. Maureen O'Hara I had a really happy childhood - my siblings were great, my mother was very fanciful, and I loved to read. But there was always financial strife. Patti Smith |
