I believe that before anybody makes the journey to the other side, we have to know on a soul level that we are leaving, whether it's an accident or illness, and we prepare ourselves to a certain degree that we won't be there in the future.

John Edward I can't see myself leaving the club I grew up supporting... it's one of those things, the money's great but I still get paid reasonably well from the Lions and at the end of the day I think job satisfaction is the No.1 priority and I just love it up here. Jonathan Brown I did not like leaving them when they were little or big. You have to have priorities regarding what you will allow to take you away from your kid. Kate Hudson I didn't worry about leaving the fast lane - I was just so consumed with my baby that it seemed like the right thing to do. I never felt like I left New York, though. If you've lived in a place and loved it, you never feel like you left it. Sissy Spacek I don't have a big thing about leaving my mark or being historic. Fiona Apple I don't know about Brad Pitt leaving that beautiful woman to go hold orphans for Angelina. I mean how long is that going to last? Michael Douglas I don't really know what is shocking. When you tell the story of a man who is beheaded, you have to show how they cut off his head. If you don't, it's like telling a dirty joke and leaving out the punch line. Roman Polanski I don't see the point in signing on to do something and then leaving. Scott Speedman I don't want to see anyone leaving single tonight. I want everyone to leave impregnated. Joel Madden I feel that I'm leaving Williamstown too early, but I'd rather leave too early than too late. Michael Ritchie I felt like I was betraying my family. But I knew that trying to explain my emotions in a movie like this was more important than leaving them unspoken. John Robinson I got a job immediately after leaving high school; I was lucky - three dollars a week and all I could eat, working on a vegetable truck. Ernest Borgnine I had looked forward so eagerly to leaving the horrible place, yet when my release came and I knew that God's sunlight was to be free for me again, there was a certain pain in leaving. Nellie Bly I hate leaving home. I love what I do, but I'd love to go home every night. Charlie Watts I have heard repeated stories of meth users leaving their children unattended for days as they cook, use and then sleep off the intense effects of methamphetamine. Rick Larsen I know that I am leaving the winning side for the losing side, but it is better to die on the losing side than to live under Communism. Whittaker Chambers I prefer leaving things to the market as much as possible. Dorothy Denning I really enjoy squeezing out a big lump of paint directly onto the canvas and leaving it; fresh, immediate and sometimes shocking. John Dyer I remember being infuriated from the top of my head to the tip of my toes the first time a screen was put around Bob Carter and me on a train leaving Washington in the 1940s. Constance Baker Motley I remember leaving the hospital - thinking, 'Wait, are they going to let me just walk off with him? I don't know beans about babies! I don't have a license to do this.' We're just amateurs. Anne Tyler |
