There is always some universal proportion, but along with that there are some places where special things happen. Ireland, for example. I've always felt it's interesting to play there. Maybe they just drink more than anybody else.

Ed O'Brien Really, can anyone drink several martinis at lunch? Christine Baranski I had the drink after I fell out of bed. It hurt. Liza Minnelli I was in London. It's a long way to go for a very long party, sitting there for six hours not having a cigarette or a drink. It's a waste of time. Albert Finney We don't do drugs, drink or use profanity. Instead we instill morals and values in my boys by raising them with a love of God and a love and respect for themselves and all people. I believe they will have a chance. Anita Baker Those were the days, you know. It's an English thing; as soon as it's gets to 6 pm, you have to go and have a drink. We used to stick to that religiously. Andy Taylor I know I can get to the stage where I'm drinking a lot. I tend to be rotten and groggy all day and hanging out for the next drink and five o'clock, ping! I have to just stop. Trisha Goddard We go on a lot in this country about offences being caused by drugs. The truth is just as many offences are caused by drink. And that should be taken into account. Jeffrey Archer My real self is probably more creative and more frightening than any sort of drink or drug-induced state. Ron Wood I'm not a party person or someone who likes to sit and drink in clubs all night, and never really have been. I have a good time through work. Robin Gibb Thom is one of those wonderful people to cook for because he absolutely loves it, just loves it. He loves to eat and drink and he'd be a great guest at any dinner party. Ted Allen We've got horse property and there's other stuff to do. Like, four wheel driving, we barbeque, drink beers, sit around and play guitars and have a merry 'ol time. Lita Ford I knew that by getting behind the wheel of the car and having had something to drink, the responsibility laid on my shoulders. Tracey Gold Our trouble is that we drink too much tea. I see in this the slow revenge of the Orient, which has diverted the Yellow River down our throats. J. B. Priestley The drink? Yes, I've had tough times in my life, especially the last year, regarding my ex-wife, my kids, I nearly broke my neck, I was on death row with pneumonia. Paul Gascoigne I knew I couldn't solve it. Because I couldn't figure out what made her drink when things were going well. David Gest They say you can smoke 400 cigs a day and drink 20 cups of coffee, but you can't have a line or a drink again. Ron Wood As we depend upon our masters, for what we eat and drink and wear, and for all our comfortable things in this world, we cannot be happy, unless we please them. Jupiter Hammon I never refused an autograph, never refused to buy someone a drink. Now I'm learning to say I've got other things on, instead of doing it and wondering why. Paul Gascoigne And we'd drink huge amounts of scotch and coke, which is a ghastly sweet drink... And now people don't drink nearly as much, for good reason. We're all a little wiser. Bill Bruford |
