Well actually, we are working on the live album from the shows in Japan. I'm trying to get that finished.

Bootsy Collins My relationship with Music Row has always been, from my end, optimistic and hopeful that there is more than one way to approach the writing, recording, and marketing of an album. Deana Carter I've been looking forward to doing an album, but it's really sad to see how many doors have been closed because of the gay thing. I thought it was about the music. Jai Rodriguez I know acts and I'm not going to name names but these people sold ten million copies the first time and the second album sells three million and it's considered a failure and they're dropped and that's really a shame. Gerry Beckley I'm pursuing soundtrack work in the southern California area and down the line I plan to make a moody, intense acoustic album. Not all acoustic, but an acoustic - oriented guitar record that I've already written most of the material for. Ronnie Montrose Even though we didn't actually record it as the Move I had already written a song called 'Dear Elaine,' which I subsequently put on the Boulders album. I thought at the time that was probably the best song I'd written. Roy Wood I'm not going to play funk licks on a jazz album. That makes no sense. Branford Marsalis I think somewhere in the back of my mind I've always wanted to make a whole swing album. Suzy Bogguss I want to communicate through my music. If you want to know Geri Halliwell listen to my album: it tells you more about me than a documentary ever could. Geri Halliwell Also there's two sides of it, I mean, a band like us, at our level and the way we have to promote ourselves and usually radio just completely turns their back on us, at the same time I think Mp3s help promote us somewhat, spreading the word about the album and stuff. Kenny Hickey The bar was very high-we had to really make sure that we got what we really wanted, that it was a real finished album. We weren't going to give up until we got that. Roger Andrew Taylor And of course, the musician - if he's serious - always answers: My last album is my best, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Klaus Schulze It varies from song to song, although Buck Owens and I recently collaborated on writing a duet together and am looking forward with a great deal of anticipation to recording that track for the new studio album. Dwight Yoakam I mean whatever I do it's important that I put my stamp on it and keep it in my world, whether I'm doing a dance track or something like the Russian album for example. Marc Almond When I do an album I try to find a producer that's excited about something that they want me to sing, and I check with the record company to find out what they think they can sell - which is their No. 1 priority. Johnny Mathis Working with Yahoo! allows us to give our fans a chance to listen to our songs, check out the video, purchase our new album, win tickets to our show, and chat with us all in one place. Isaac Hanson If I cut an album now and sell it for ten bucks, I can put seven dollars and fifty cents in my pocket. Mickey Gilley For the second album I look forward to doing a lot of serious collaboration and taking the experiences I've had over this last year, good and bad, and working it into the album. Justin Guarini When we came off the tour for the last album, we started on this one. We've just been chipping away at it. We're not in that much of a hurry, because when we release a Blur album, that's a three year promotion and touring cycle. Dave Rowntree I like 'Bewitched' off the first album because it's one of the happiest songs I've ever written and, as any writer will tell you, happy songs are a million times more difficult to write than sad songs.
